it's not houston it's dc i was going to get sad thinking i missed out on a good fashion filled night in htown and i realized i totally didn't :) but this weekend we have two big fashion expos can't wait to see some of the stuff

but it starts at 2 ends at 8 and i think i'm not heading there iuntil 6 ish so i can only imagine how many pieces will be sold off and what not. I'm still thinking about wearing a dress prototype made for me on eid instead of buying a new one so we'll see if i come home with a treat or not.

trust me it was not drool worthy, overpriced pieces that were not anything I've been drooling over. It was a let down. The jewelry pieces by satya paul and sania (houston girl) were really nice and Sania's pieces were well priced. I liked the Sabeen Syed pieces some were really unique with that necklace thing that's instyle. I saw one pink thread and motif dress, an older design maybe from last summer at least and that was for $240 which was reduced to 220 which is reasonable in my eyes but there was a not so heavy Umar Sayeed piece for over $400 it was ridiculous and not the latest fashion so I didn't understand the price. There were a lot of older things, then again maybe the better pieces were purchased by the time I arrived... I dunno. Both ways I think this glitterati houston event just wasn't worth my time.
