These MQM terrorists think they can easily fool the people of Pakistan in this day and age. The kinds of weapons had been recovered from 90, it is impossible to obtain license for those. I mean how the eff do you get license for rocket launchers, hand grenade bombs and machine guns? No wonder MQM always fought hard to keep Ministry of Shipment to control the smuggling of weapons.
According to one the same suspect, they used ambulances to transfer weapons from different places.

Rangers had been conducting operation in Karachi for almost an year. It is a federally and juridically authorised operation. So there is no question about legality whatsoever.

They created artificial threat of Taliban in Karachi by killing 120 of their own men and then blaming them to Taliban. I just hope that the authorities don’t leave the operation unfinished. If this does not lead to the arrest of hundreds of military wings operators of Mqm, and also the arrest of whole leadership, then there will be no point behind this operation.

And i am not sure what federal and judical authorization you are talking about, werent rangers given special powers by Kiyani and initially were deployed by non political entities?

Biggest example is the two long marches of Tahir ul Qadri , A party which can not win even a provincial assembly seat and marches with rented workers is given continuous coverage for 24 hours for weeks , and same media gives no coverage to the biggest party of Pakistan during Election 2013 . This is same media which never spoke a word against MQM and now All Guns are towards MQM .

KARACHI: Detained Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Umair Siddiqui has confessed that MQM sector in-charge Rehman Bhola was the man behind the deadly 2012 Baldia Town fire that killed at least 258 factory workers, according to a statement issued by the Rangers on Saturday.
“Umair Siddiqui admitted MQM sector in-charge set Baldia factory on fire,” the Rangers spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said that Siddiqui, who was presented in an anti-terrorism court on Saturday, confessed to having been given the task of killing the MQM opponents, and that he has been involved in 120 target killings.
The accused allegedly received orders to form a team of target killers, which included 23 MQM members belonging to various units. The said team was involved in the killing of approximately 120 people that opposed the party. The orders for target killings used to be issued by Hammad Siddiqui, a member of MQM’s Karachi Tanzeemi Committee, the press statement said. Umair Siddiqui and his team of target killers also allegedly murdered the Rangers’ Lance Naik Shaukat. Siddiqui was also involved in the murders of former senator Faisal Raza Abidi’s guard and MQM representative Amir Khan’s nephew Sabihullah. Another MQM worker Tahir alias Nadeem SP was also murdered by the team, the statement said.
During interrogation, the suspect revealed that in 2008 MQM’s Deputy Convener Anees Qaim Khani held a meeting at Khurshid Memorial Hall and issued directions to speed up target killings on linguistic grounds. The statement said the target killers were not only tasked to kill MQM opponents but MQM workers as well.
The suspect also revealed that he used a dealer in Quetta to procure weapons for MQM’s armed wing. In one instance, he confessed to buying 40 kalashnikovs, eight LMGs, one rocket launcher, six G3s, five China rifles and three MGs.
He went on to claim that in February 2015 all sector in-charges were directed to submit their extra weapons to Nine Zero to prevent it from being seized during raids. The said weapons were allegedly transferred from one area to another with the help of ambulances.
The suspect further confessed that approximately 250-300 target killers reside or are in hiding in the neighborhoods of the MQM headquarters.
In the 2013 elections, on the orders of the suspect, 60-70 party workers in Gulistan-e-Jauhar cast fake votes in favour of MQM candidate Faisal Sabzwari at the polling stations situated in the Maymar sector, the press release stated.
For this purpose, a day before the elections, the presiding officers were called to the sector office and were made to agree to the arrangement, Siddiqui allegedly confessed. He added that in every polling station, 15-20 boxes full of fake ballots were given to the presiding officers.
Siddiqui has been handed over to the Rangers on a 90-day physical remand.
