Apart from above, what service he have done for that particular conmunity, despite being in power fir 10 years straight, both in center and in province??? What he did for the education, for the rights, for the health, for the development of that particular community, nothing known or on ground…yes he locked city even if anyone starred at him… And never for rights of the people…
So please do not talk about political reality, Allah gave this person power and position ti change the fate of nation, instead he created reign of fear and death…
He could have been a hero for all Pakistan, he could have stood up for us, but instead he chose to have assets in Dubai, London and South Africa…and that at the cost of our blood…

These arrests confirmed that military does not want AH and his cronies any more. For the time being it has accepted Farooq Sattar’s ready made mqm manufactured in the factory run by the military.

Do you know who this great man is? He is a magnet. He was professor of philosophy in university of Karachi, when he comes to the department, u can feel the warmth, excitement, happiness among students, we use to wait hours n hours for him to come and lecture us, when he spoke on different subjects of philosophy in his deep soothing voice, a pin drop silence in the class, I always look at the cigarette in his fingers, turning to ash slowly without even a single puff.
He was most charismatic, versatile and a hollywood hero type character, I ever saw, with his long hair, blue jeans, red shirt, wide beaming smile, so simple, sitting on the stairs and floor with students and talking about ideologies and modern day philosophy, like a friend, he looked a revolutionary, like Che Guwera.
During Zias harshest martial law, Gen Jehandad Khan, MLA, Sindh sent a circular to college and universities, that no teacher will condemn martial law, and it was him, who replied to the general through a letter, which became “viral” within a hours among all progressive students of Pakistan, yes within hours, the photocopies of this letter were circulating in all universities and colleges of Pakistan, as we see FB and twitter trends these days. The letter said how a general dare to speak to teachers and direct them about what to teach and what not, it was toughest possible reply to the martial law government, to that letter, those who don’t know what was the terror of martial law those days, ask political workers of left and MRD movement veterans.
On this letter he was dismissed from the job immediately and was sentenced to jail. Then once I saw him after 10 years, he was jobless and writing books for livelihood, later on I heard he moved to London.
This is that hero, charismatic Dr. Hassan Zafar Arif,
