It may have been a while back but I (hopefully correctly) recall that it was mandatory for new members to have at least 25 (or 50 don’t remember) posts before tehy could PM other members, and could PM mods/admin with 0-posts.
Recently I’ve been getting PMs from new members who have 0-posts, which to me…is the equivalent of spam
Is there any way possible to reinstate that policy that members cannot send pvt msgs without having at least 25/50 posts? Or if it was never there…place that restriction?
I don't think it is a policy. It was a technical setting which didn't allow a new user to send PMs until they made 25 posts. There's probably glitch in the setting that the tech admins can fix.
Spam was probably the wrong word to use, but they are messages that say "hello" or "salam" and that's it...one message was from someone looking for help around the bazaar forum so I forwarded that reply to the mod/CM... even tho its not spam, I just don't like getting those messages.
