everyone already knows our desi culture is number 1 in gossip and are nosy etc.. and we have all seen it happen .. BUT THIS is another level .. here is a short but true story

I was talking to my dad earlier via text as he is out of the country currently and he asks me if I had put our house on rent ? a little back story, I moved in without my parents knowing ? so...

I said no naturally and he goes oh okay BECAUSE -

he was talking to my uncle (who lives about 10 min away from me) and my uncle said that recently the PIZZA GUY who is a totally random dude with whom we do not have a personal relationship with, asked him (my uncle) if anyone had moved into my house cuz he knows my dad (my dad loves pizza and ordered it a lot back in the day) and wanted to know why is there a pathan girl (me) living there cuz he saw her a couple of times

I mean ARE YOU EFFING SERIOUS??

1st of all - whats it to him who lives at my house or not 2nd of all - whats it to him who lives at my house or not
3rd of all - whats it to him who lives at my house or not

4th of all - why is this random guy keeping tabs on me
5th of all - I know have a heightened concern for my safety as I live alone, if this guy knows my whereabouts

and in case anyone is wondering, he was not asking out of genuine concern or anything such thing, cuz even my dad was surprised why he was asking

I’ve noticed that people in the certain businesses (restaurant delivery, shop owners, etc etc) who come into contact with a lotttttt of folks tend to notice the minutest details about customers.

OP, do you mind if I move this thread to relationship section? It sounds like belonging there more

You should totally reciprocate it with the questions like what that uncle is doing, why is he moving in , who is he moving out etc etc. Give them a taste of their own med
