Munchkin is 3 months now mA and recently when I feed her she cries her eyes out, this is how it goes she drinks a bit then cries then drinks a bit then cries. This carries on. Any ideas why? She’s fine throughout the day except evenings where she gets cranky around 8pm on the dot!
I thought it was because I changed her bottle from the small tommee tippee to the big one so I changed the teat back to the one she used before.
Re: Random crying
might be having colic, check her tummy, if its hard
Random crying
Tummy isn't hard I think, not sure how hard its meant to be.
she's reduced her milk intake too, she used to drink 5/6 oz and now only drinks 2/3! Occasionally she'll finish the bottle but it takes 1 hour to feed her these days, stressful for both of us! :(
Re: Random crying
do you watch a certain scary show at 8 pm? ![]()
Random crying
^ hehe nope actually that's our eating time
Re: Random crying
I think she might be having stomach pains of some sort?
Are her bowl habits normal or have they changed recently?
Random crying
More runny then usual? Anything I can do to ease the pain?
Re: Random crying
Are you asking me or stating that they are more runny than usual?
If they are more runny than usual and if she is struggling to drink milk and crying- maybe she has developed a cows milk allergy?
I suggest talking to a doc.
Random crying
Could she be teething?
Random crying
Inspiron… Sorry.. I was stating it. Silly me
the question mark was supposed to be exclamation mark ![]()
Making an appointment today so will see. But if she was fine before then could the allergy arise after
Sahr.. I don’t know
how do I know
Re: Random crying
She could just be colicy :(
But yeh... I would definitely double check with a doc and make sure it's not something serious.
Random crying
^ it does suck! :(
Can someone explain what colic is, I was chatting to my friends sister who was like colic is when baby's fart n burp all the time! I thought it was the opposite to that
Re: Random crying
Dr. Wikipedia has said this
Colic (also known as infantile colic) is a condition in which an otherwise healthy baby cries or displays symptoms of distress (cramping, moaning, etc.) frequently and for extended periods, without any discernible reason. The condition typically appears within the first month of life and often disappears rather suddenly, before the baby is three to four months old, but can last up to 12 months of life. One study concludes that the chances of having colic is lower in breastfed babies.

^ thanks!
Re: Random crying
is she bringing up milk?has she always had formula milk?have you changed it recently?
Re: Random crying
Allergies can arise anytime in life.
But the crying/loss in appetite and runny poo does warrant a trip to the doctor I think. Just to be on the safe side.

So I took bubba to the docs turns out she has thrush in her mouth and an ear infection... I feel like a bad mummy :( should have picked up on it sooner
Re: Random crying
