Rana

Now its really funny the importance given to Rana for the England tour. He is almost taken as if he is Akram or Younis who if not play will be a great loss to the team.

Understandably the way he has performed in county and international circuit over recent past he certainly deserves this but I just wonder if he ever imagined that he will get this treatment.

Go Rana go, we want to play and perform.

Re: Rana

And its coming from a Nick called 'shoaib'. :D

Re: Rana

Ranadhino would be awesome in English conditions (No matter how late it is in the year and how much the English pitches are favoring the batsmen). Hope he gets fit and doesn't have to go through surgery.

Re: Rana

Rana is the best bowler pakistan have rite now.

Re: Rana

Yeah I think Rana is the only experienced player we have that we can rely on during this tour. Not to overshadow the potential of our young bowlers, but the reason everyone seems to value the fitness of Rana Naved so much is because of two important factors:

1) His incredible performance in county cricket, showing that he clearly has a good understanding of how to take full advantage of English conditions
2) His experience and maturity will help keep the Pakistani bowling attack intact.

I mean, sure we'll have MoAsif, but that dude has barely reached his tipping point yet, and God knows how much more potential he has. As for MoSami... yeah he's experienced, but he doesnt have that mature swagger that Rana has.

Ranadinho's our main man.

But watch-- if (InshAllah) Shoaib returns fit, the Rana haters will re-emerge.

Re: Rana

Well apparently he shall be able to take part in the tour at later stages.

That sounds very interesting and encouraging.

I was surprized why Sami was not given chance in warmup match against Scotland.

Re: Rana

cuz…Pak wanted to start this tour on a winning note! :chai:
