Ramzan’s coming up, and as usual we will be asking your contributions for banners.
This time around, we’ve decided that we are going to have a theme for the banners. Simplicity. Simplicity in the way we celebrate this month, simplicity in how we do everything in this month.
So you don’t have to go all out in making your banners. The simple the better right? And we are going to make the selection process even more simple But more on that later.
So down to the nitty gritty. The guidelines:
Banner must:
be around 100 pixels in height (this means that height can be around 180)
be around 380 pixels in width (this means that width can be around 400)
Have the word Gupshup on there somewhere
reflect the theme chosen for this year
be uploaded to the GS server
be submitted by Thursday, September 13th
Please save the banner in your own name.
Ofcourse, you can always submit general Ramzan banners as well, but it would be cooler if the banners followed the theme for this year.
I know that the due date is after Ramzan starts, but dates just fell this way So the sooner you can get the banners in, the sooner we can select them, and the sooner we can have them up.
And as usual, no flooding; unnecessary replies will be removed. Use this thread to submit your banners and ask questions.
Ok so taking on board what Khumar said, i kept it simple…as the saying goes less is sometimes more.
PS. i do not have the neccessary application skills to pull off a graphic banner of quality that others are capable of, all i ask is that you give my contribution to the cause an E for effort.
But might I suggest you make the text a little bit bigger (maybe use a different font) and move it over to the right a little. (sorry, I’m a perfectionist. )
