I’m not sure if this has been discussed before, but I just sat on ARY Digital that Ramiz Raja has been fired as Chief Executive of PCB. Another twister in Pakistani cricket circles, since Shaharyar Khan yesterday confirmed that Ramiz’s job is safe!
I think this was on the cards for sometime now. Personally I think Ramiz did a very good job as a CEO but people holding such positions should not be involved in other activities like he was and I think that made his position untenable and ultimately he had to choose between being a full time CEO or being a commentator.

Ramiz was doing well as a CEO but his inflexibility regarding his commentary position was very annoying. if this news is true, it is a loss for the PCB and a gain for cricket fans.
yeah its is funny how this news hasnt yet been confirmed by mainstream media but i guess it will be very soon. yeah i think ramiz did fine. however, this is not a decision that will make a whole lot of change, for good or for bad, because tha main problems lie elsewhere.
i guess now rambo will have plenty of time on his hands to finally get a much needed hair cut
