wow excellent great points i love the way you think!

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

those who want to do it they do it they have a lot of will power:rolleyes:
and btw why ar u so concerned?

just read this TDW and i hope u understand a bit

Why should she then have to make up for these days, and not for the prayer? The hadith of Aisha seems to solve the issue, but it does not absolutely do so. Of course, one answer against our position is that Allah’s rulings are not subject to legal reasoning.

so how can u say its unfair, i hate ur title but then again its my opinion:)

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

ramzan is not at all unfair to women , some women just can fast around their time of the month they may need to take medicine if they have dymenorrhea ( is dt is how u spell it ) and they can always make up for it later for which they get lots of sawaab to.

and all these off topic posts by ppl describing their personal cycle and their personal bits is just silly

your making others feel uncomfortable

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

this is how I see it. PCG mentioned that she does not have to worry about it, and someone who did not quite buy it asked how, she explained a hormonal condition, could be PCOS could be whatever, could be nothing or could have challenges associated with it. irregular periods do not mean some sort of gender morphing.

To make light of this and to poke fun at her is rather unbecoming.

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

I had always thought that it was unfair for men because they don't get a break like women do during Ramadan and fasting. Not that I would want such a break. lol. but stil.

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

Not trying to make fun or anything but she should at least consider the most obvious, a pregnancy test.

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

…and in what type of pregnancy do women have irregular periods year after year?

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

I need to read her entire post then.

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

this one...

maybe u did not mean it as a joke or to poke fun at her, but ppl response indicated that I was not the only one who read it as that.

Lastly, I am not aware of cases where women became men and had a a gender change unassisted.

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

I agree with you. We want pyarici around a long time. She is taking it too lightly. Stop puttering around on GS and go see your doctor pyarici.

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

[mod] I better not see any more flooding here [/mod]

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

Allow me to explain to you in layman’s terms what your homeopathist was talking about.

Women who have polycystic ovaries (cysts in the ovaries) and who have the metabolic syndrome (high sugar, high lipids, weight gain, obesity, etc) have a insulin resistance problem (which causes the metabolic syndrome). Insulin somehow causes testosterone to up, and these women will have abnormal hair growth (ex. hair on their face - not like a beard, but more hair than they normally have), darkening pigment on their necks and along their armpits, and they will have amenorrhea (meaning, no periods for a long time - well past 3 months missed). Because of the metabolic syndrome, they come in complaining of fatigue and what you’d think would be cardiac symptoms. Unless a doctor asks them about their periods and takes time to note the hair growth, the diagnosis gets missed very often. That’s the classic presentation. Then there are all kinds of fun derivatives, which makes diagnosing this problem even harder.

So these women, in your friend’s terms, might look like women who have had a gender change. But in reality, they’re not MEN. They’ve just got a hormonal imbalance.

As for me, no, I haven’t had enormous weight gain, and I’m not growing course hair on my cheeks. But I have been eating bad, and I am pre-diabetic, and so insulin resistance might be causing my period to not come. I haven’t investigated it much with my doctors, mainly because of insurace issues.

Hope that brings a more mature spin on things in this discussion.

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

^ What's so khofnaak? This initial thread and the following points have revealed shocking ignorance of females and the reproductive system. And a surprising squeemishness on the part of the guys here.

Re: Ramzan is unfair to women below 45.

Yes you are right, its Shocking and Khofnaak
