So does anyone over here has ramadhan resolutions so far???Does anyone even do it or not?
and Ramadan Mubarak in advance.
Allah willing, I’m going to:
-Read the Quran once with translation, one chapter everyday.
-Do other optional worship to get close to Allah and increase His love and fear in my heart.
-Read a biography of our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and read plenty of durood sharif as this increases Rasoolullah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)’s love in our hearts and I’m going to try following his Sunnah more.
-Start giving more money to charity.
-Waste less time doing awara gardi, and instead spend it on worship.
-Keep away from minor and major sins.
-Start praying morning prayers in congregation, I pray the others in Mosque but morning is a bit hard but Allah willing I’m going to start.
What are your Ramadan resolutions?
i don't know, i'm a bit ambivalent about making Ramadan resolutions for myself mostly because i don't think i stick to them at all.
Ideally, i would like to go for Tarawih prayers on as many nights as i can at my local masjid. i'd like to recite, with understanding, one small portion from the Quran each night, maybe before i go to bed. Maybe learn a little Arabic that way as well, Insha'Allah. i would like to have more knowledge of Islam, maybe be more knowledgeable of the Hadiths. Best of all, i'd like to be able to read the Quran in Arabic and actually understand what i am reading without having to resort to the Urdu or English translations... i understand Surah Fatiha in Arabic perfectly, but not the long surahs. i want to change that so i can read, with COMPLETE understanding, the Quran in the language it was revealed. That'd be my wish for this Ramadan although i doubt very much it's going to be attained.
To do things that will make me a better human being and a better muslim, and will last beyond just Ramadan. Insha'Allah.
namazein shuroo karni hein sahi tarah!
To finish the Quran within Ramadan, in_sha_Allah at least one time. (my cousin does it three times!)
Try to behave as well as possible and hope the good characteristics become a part of me, even after ramadan...
:salam:
Okay so I am not the odd one out for ramadhan resolutions. Well, I have a couple ideas but basically I want to do ramadhan the proper way it should be oberved, InshaAllah.
*I plan to finish reading Quran Kareem. It maybe kinda hard but I am going to try InshaAllah.
*I also would like to start praying regularly like I used to InshaAllah.
*Try to start reading Ar Raheeq-ul-Makhtoum, InshaAllah.
*Basically just observe the way it should be.
