Ramadhan Mubarak To You All

Re: Ramadhan Mubarak To You All

May this festival of charity, devotion, brotherhood and self-control brings purity in thoughts, speech, and act which in turn bring happiness in your life. Happy Ramadan to all.

Re: Ramadhan Mubarak To You All

Well well well, I am now a Pakistani "muslim" now, and this month is blessing for me...all the things i hoarded for year long can be sold on double the price...what a month we have...

Just want to condemn those who increase the prices of commodities i dont trade into and i need them for me and my family for eid and other show offs...

On a serious note
Ramadan Kareem!
Let us all try to preach Islam to Muslims and May Allah grant us mercy to embrace Islam in its true spirit.

Re: Ramadhan Mubarak To You All

Almost a year now...

Re: Ramadhan Mubarak To You All

No. Just curious to know :)

Ameen.

Is that why complaining for high prices?

Re: Ramadhan Mubarak To You All

Lol no :)

Just not use to it thats all...normally in Ramzan prices of commodities fall but here they rise like anything and people buy things as if there is no tommorrow...

Interestingly, i saw a huge que of families waiting outside of Hyperstar at Fortress, Lahore. I asked my cousin if Malik Riaz is distributing free gifts here...he said no, the prices have gone up and people are in line to buy those over-priced items...and he further added that normally after few days prices of 80-90 % items will come down...

My observation is, if people just simply dont over buy stuff... half the motives of hoarding will die along with doctors bill.

The most entertaining thing in all this is, prices of Jew commodities such Pepsi and Coca Cola have fallen and prices of Muslim products like Jam e Shereen and Rooh Afza have increased...

Re: Ramadhan Mubarak To You All

Speaking of commodities, crude has increased by 50 pct from its lows.

Now I know why.

Re: Ramadhan Mubarak To You All

@hanibal,

If I recall then i think I haven't noticed prices of commodities ever decrease in this month. It remains as before except if there is any special offer.

Re: Ramadhan Mubarak To You All

It is like, two days before 1st Ramzan, the 50 Kg bad of Pulses was 5,700...one day before Ramzan it was 6,000 and on 1st day it was 6,300 and today qhen i asked it was 6,100 and probably stay there...

Same with dates and Lemons.
