Ramadhan is around the corner…
Do you usually gain weight or lose weight? Why?
Re: Ramadhan and weight
lose weight coz i eat less. i feel sick if i eat too much or too frequently, so with the summer ramadan's i can't manage to eat much. also, it feels so wrong going from fasting and having your body in a certain peaceful state to stuffing your face.
this ramadan, we will probably not eat the regular iftar stuff because then people will not eat dinner properly, which is more important. so we plan to have a proper dinner at iftar, maybe some snacks later and then eat something at sehri that will get you through the day. i can't eat dinner type meals at that time so i will probably just have some porridge and dates.
Re: Ramadhan and weight
i think i gain weight =/ actually iono. sometimes i gain it, other times i lose it. but because the days are longer i might end up losing some.
i don't care, i just want nice samosas at every iftaar :(
Re: Ramadhan and weight
meh, it’s just one month which isn’t going to bring about any considerable changes to your body so I’ve never bothered checking my before and after weight. This Ramadan, the fasts are going to be so long, it’s going to be roasting, I’ll be in college all day long and I’ll be dying for water and food by iftari time so I shall eat as much as I like rubs tid ![]()
I’ll probably lose weight since I’ll only be eating twice a day (iftari and sehri - no time for snacks) but I’m not fussing over it. If I need to lose weight, I’ll start a proper diet and exercise plan after Ramadan.
Re: Ramadhan and weight
I've never noticed a difference.
Re: Ramadhan and weight
I always gain, I binge out on all the fried goodies at iftari.
Re: Ramadhan and weight
Last year I gained weight. With the days being so long when iftari came round i always felt i could eat a horse i was so hungry, so i did stuff my face a lot. This year, i'm gonna be veeeery careful.

Gaining weight during ramadhan is the biggest sin in islam. *It Allah's will and he clearly mentioned it in quran **. Its a farz on all muslims and all weight gainers are punishable to death. Weight gaining secular liberals cowards will be defeated by true muslims some day

I already know that it was your creation, because the usual courtesy extended by him by addressing everyone 'Sir' was missing in all the statement.
Re: Ramadhan and weight
**I lose almost 8-10 lbs during Ramadan.
I can’t eat at Sehri so I just have a glass of milk and then at Iftar after having juice and pakoray I feel so full I can’t eat anything else

Re: Ramadhan and weight
I lose weight usually. I eat much less and pray taraweeh each night. I have one full meal every day (sehri) and a very light iftar.
Re: Ramadhan and weight
people go easy on pakoras and samosas and you will lose weight.
Re: Ramadhan and weight
