Ramadan timings?

Re: Ramadan timings?

I apologize for that, but I had to know your background in order to understand the questins better.

May be the last part was true, the historians would know better. Of course Islam is universal. However, this does not mean that Allah sent a material solution to each and every problem the first day and made sure that every human being understood it instantly. That would have been too easy.

I think, like many other people, you are trying to approach Islam as a mathematical problem, without strengthening the faith in your heart. I personally believe that one has to take many things as they are and continue the quest. Things start making sense after a while with Allah’s blessings.

Re: Ramadan timings?

light bearer: you are the weirdest creature i've ever seen (please dont get offended thats just my opnion from observing)
why do you keep questionning about islamic beliefs, if you dont believe in them then why are you so concerned. no one has forced you to believe in it-its tottaly your choice. ans please making fun of other religions is quite a disgusting act.

Re: Ramadan timings?

I keep on asking questions because I am interested in Islam, I want to follow it not just because I was born into it, I want to follow only when I understand it. BTW where did you see me making fun of any religion.

Re: Ramadan timings?

so you born in a muslim family and they did'nt tell you that 1400 years ago there were no muslims in Alaska.......................and if there were any muslims in Alaska then Allah could have send the solution to it for that time but today there are Muslims in Alaska and Also there is Solution for salat or ramadan timings.
So you are trying to become Muslim.......would you like to tell How This question can benefit you for becoming "Muslim"?
Do You believe in Allah and the Last day?

Re: Ramadan timings?

No they did not tell me, but at the same time they did not stop me from finding it out for myself.
I am muslim by name but ready to take the step forward but when I see people like you who question my motives by talking between the lines I start having second thoughts. Will I also become paranoid? I don't know. At the end of the day who is to know who is benefitting from what or not.
I don't ask people their motives for the things they do/say just because its their right. As long as they don't hurt me physically. Emotional hurt card should not be played up because if people get offended they should not be on the forum. I always try keep my tone down and don't look down on anybody.
By your post looks like you are offended, for that all I can say is I did not intend to hurt you or anybody. You have a free will not to respond to any of my posts. But please don't imply as if I was playing unfair. I asked a question, you had your answer, its not necessary that I agree to your reply (Check my posts when I agree I do not keep my mouth shut I post it).
As for your last question you should not be asking me this but if it makes your life any easier I do believe in Allah if somebody ask me to prove His existance that I can't do. (sometimes I play devil's advocate to get more ideas out). as for day of judgement I am still trying to understand the religion first, so you can put it in your small black book as undecided.

Re: Ramadan timings?

Light bearer, you can look into the scientific facts in the Quran which no one would have even known 100 years ago yet alone 1400 years ago. The solutions to many of the problems today in the Quran in simple terms which no other religion can offer. This should be sufficient to prove the existance of Allah swt to anyone with a brain. And should be sufficient for you to become a practicing muslim InshAllah.

Re: Ramadan timings?

May be I was in Hurry and I wrote some things without thinking.........Well yes you're right. This question can be beneficial for you........But for me this is a silly question. But our circumstances are different.
My Answer still remains the same.........may be someone else could give better answer.
May Allah guide you and give you more awareness and knowledge about islam.
i find most of your questions quite interesting except this one..........this question doe's nt concern or affect a muslim's life.So why should worry about this...........

Re: Ramadan timings?

Afridi, can you start a separate thread about the scientific facts and we'll carry it forward from there.
