The Team of Gupshup UnPlugged would like to share the blessings of this holy month with all of its members - to show unity and brotherhood that is much wanted need of these times.
While we are going about everyday fasting, praying, reading Quran, calculating our Zakah, charity, waiting for Lailat-ul-Qadar and what not, let’s turn our online time into an ibaadah as well… Let’s not waste any single moment of this month. Let’s help each other in gaining as much as reward as we can, Insha Allah.
For that reason, GS UnPlugged team has come up with Three ideas, which can help in accomplishing the above thoughts.

Enlighten yourself with different and interesting ways to set up table and present food to guest and at home. Live show brought to you from Pakistan with recipes varying from Continental to Chinese and Afghan cuisine, at 11:05 UAE Time, exclusively on GEO!
Food Evening with Rahat
A live cooking show with the energetic and creative chef Rahat, whose a very famous name. She will be conducting the show every Monday to Friday evening in her unique way with her fabulous recipes and not just that but she will also be interacting live with the audience to give extra details and give tips about cooking and general kitchen issues. A 24 hour Radio transmission dedicated specially for Ramadaan has been made available for all of us. The programs will include Hamd, NaataiN, Quran Recitations, QawaaliyaaN, etc. etc. Prominent participants will include people like Sami Yousuf, Junaid Jamshaid, Yousuf Islam, Raihan, Muhammad Al Husyan, Ahmed Bukhatir, etc.
3. Invitation to Join in Khatam Quran at Gupshup/Paklinks Forums:
This is the idea we are working on, we can start from the beginning of Quran. One para a week is basically any member can sign up, and we’ll assign you a para depending on how many members take part. You’ll have one week to finish the para, and insha’Allah other members joining in will get a different para to read. Every week we’ll finish 5 or 6 para depending on the number of members who participate. The whole idea is to finish Quran together, and push one another to read Quran.
Reply with I want to JOIN for Khatam Quran, if you like to participate so we’ll know how many people are participating. We really need sincere people to join in, we dont want people abandoning this in the middle.

Hadhrat Abu Sa’eed :razi: narrates that Rasulullah:saw2: said:
"Almighty Allah says; “If anybody finds no time for My remembrance and for begging favours of Me, because of his remaining busy with the Holy Qur’an, I shall give him more than what I give to all those who beg favours of Me. The superiority of the Word of Allah over all other words is like the superiority of Allah over the entire creation.”

Hadhrat 'Uqbah ibn Aamir :razi: has said:
“Rasulullah:saw2: came to us while we were sitting on the Suffah and asked if any one of us would like to go to the market of But-haan or Aqeeq and fetch from there two she-camels of the finest breed without committing any sin or severing a tie of kinship. We replied that everyone of us would love to do so. Rasulullah:saw2: then said that going to the masjid and reciting or teaching two ayaat of the Qur’an is more precious than two she-camels, three ayaat are most precious than three she-camels, and that similarly reciting or teaching of four ayaat is better than four she-camels and an equal number of camels.”

Hadhrat 'Aa’ishah:razi2: narrates that Rasulullah:saw2: once said,
“One who is well versed in the Qur’an will be in the company of those angels who are scribes, noble and righteous; and one who falters in reading the Qur’an, and has to exert hard for learning, gets double the reward.”
