Ramadan is less than 40 sleeps away, what will you be cooking and freezing in advance

Re: Ramadan is less than 40 sleeps away, what will you be cooking and freezing in adv

This year we're not bothering with the whole samosa's etc. We're just making dinner as per usual and serving that for iftari. Maybe on weekends we may have like samosa's etc. Im reeaaallllyy looking forward to Ramadan. Does anyone have a general idea of when it is in UK?

Zaeina, of course I would love to share out sehri ideas here. Fried egg is of course fried egg as people have everywhere, Cereals I mean things like, Weetabox, porridge oats/oatmeal, cornflakes, shredded wheat all healthy and filling especially oats they burn energy slowly keep you going for longer.
Bakery is things like.....brioche rolls ( i like them toasted and buttered with tea mmmmm),, teacakes also toasted, croisannts, pain au chocolat, waffles, oh and I can't leave out my staple food......CAKE RUSK!!!!! lol

First thanx dear for telling me. cereal i think i can found in lhaore from Alfatah. but bakery products u told me is new for me. actually cake rusk or simple rusk, bread., simple cake, i don't know more than that but bakery products. So i want help people who know the shops in lahore?

Zaeina, all the cereals I am sure you can buy in Al Fatah, croissants I think they have them in Makro Lahore, my mum once bought them and I was surprised you could buy them from there. Brioche rolls I have never seen but DH tells me the similar thing there would be called "meethay bun" sweet buns.

I take it you are not into eating parathas then for sehri....lahore style!!!! :)

but the difference is..family has it before namaz…cuz azan and namaz mai around 20-25 min ka waqt hota hai…i on the other hand..eat khajoor..drink water…pray…then come and complete my iftar/dinner…and then eat at sehri after tht…
