It seems like it started YESTERDAY, already its gone. The only month that comes fast and goes away faster.
It is said that those who let it slip away, are the biggest loosers in this world.
When Allah showers his mercy upon the world.
How many of us actually used our time to grasp it
It always sucks when its over, Its a nice peaceful month. People actually love one another, become “muslims” for a change. Music is stopped, movies are halted, love is in the air.
people keep themselves away from doing wrong, and if you look at it, when we do refrain from wrongdoing we actually develop love for others, and a kind and courteous nature. We become actuall muslims.
Anywho…it goes away, we return to our wrong doings, and become animals, or perhaps worse.
I wish Allah gives us the Taufeek to live long enough to see many months of ramadan, and guide us all to Jannah.
You know crescent, you are so so right, I love the month of Ramadan, its exactly as you described. now Eid is coming.. i actually feel sad and only this morning I wished that every month could be like ramadan, because youre not eating.. you have sabbar, you make an extra effort for your namaz, youv got peace of mind. I hate those ppl who waste it.. who dont do ibaadat.. who dont appreciate what happened during Ramadan, who ignore the 27th night of worship..
one of my muslim collegues hasnt kept a single fast, now this is a 40yr old woman.. i find it disgusting and dissappointing.. now shes the one whose take a week off for Eid.. but live n let live.. :(
^ Well, in terms as the Prophet pbuh described it. Eid is a celebration for a muslim only when he reflects on how he has obeyed Allah in the past month, and for him to make amends in his life.
It's the only time (on eids) when a momin prays 6 namaazes. Without the Mua'dhin calling him for namaaz.
Eid is not Dance parties and Halla gulla. Muslims don't celebrate in such ways, where they get so drunk they can't tell apart their wife and daughter. No.
Muslims celebrate by going closer to Allah swt. Eid is a celebration in which you get closer to Allah swt, not far.
Let us be one of those that strive in his path inshallah.
Everyyear at the end of the month of Ramdhan i cry . Idon't know why but feel so bad when I go to offer namaz and pray just Isha. At that time I feel really really bad.
May Allah swt accept our prayer, show us right path and reward us with his great Nemah 'jannat" Insha-Allah
