I never waste time preparing elaborate iftars, we eat simpe foods with something extra, fruits maybe something baked.. I prepare the chopped stuff for the masala and freeze it such as onions toms, ginger garlic etc, meats are marinated and frozen… We try to eat more fresh stuff to cleanse the pallets, also I don’t do big Iftar events , we usually have to rush for taraveeh, no time for socialising , this month is for Allah. Every moment counts..
