How come the iftaar time gets adjusted depending on the season but the sahoor time is unaffected whether it’s summer time or winter time, and it’s always around 5:30

Because the Sun operates at DST, comes at the same time but may leave early..

Well these are going to be some LONG rozey, but not as bad as people in other countries, especially those that work (labor) all day in the sun. We have it easier than time, we stay in ACs, not much physical work etc.

Yea. The true spirit of Ramadhan is felt by those who work hard all day. Infact they live the spirit of Ramadhan all year round.

I don't know where I read this (forgot the forum) but there was a thread by someone saying are we doing the right thing by cutting work hours short and turning out days into night and nights into days. I agree. Ramadan is supposed to be a test for us, but Muslim countries give special breaks during Ramadan to make things easier for people, what's the point of this test then?
