**COUNCIL OF NORTH AMERICA DECIDED ON ASTRONOMICAL CALCULATIONS FOR ISLAMIC **
For last couple of years Ramadan and Eid ul Fitar moon has been an issue in North American. This year ISNA has already decided Ramadan and Eid ul Fitar dates.
What do you guys think about pre determined Ramazan & Eid dates?
Muslim of America will become more united in their celebrations in this way?
Do this type of calculation is technically correct? (from Sharai side)?

I don't think it's correct, from a shariah point of view. I think that while it is possible to make fairly accurate predictions due to technology, when the moon will be sighted is ultimately up to Allah.
That said, I think that they should have issued a fatwa about the necessity of all masjids in North America following the same moonsighting. It is absolutely ridiculous and divisive when you have eid prayers on 2 or 3 different days because one masjid wants to follow one country, and so on.
