According to Makkah and according to some masaajid in USA (including one we go to), it will be 26th of Ramadan.

They are talking of upcoming 14th August. BTW, its not necessay that 27th Ramadan is Laila tul Qadr :)

No I mean to say in 1947 when Pakistan came into being then it was 27th Ramadan n Laila tul qadr

It might be 27th Ramadan, but no one can say that it was Laila tul Qadr as its not fixed and can be on any odd nights (21-23-25-27-29). It would have been quite difficult for people to travel in fasting state and i.e. in hot summers. In some areas, people might have faced heavy rains too as Mon Soon periods normally extended till August.

So all tht struggle happened during Ramadan wht were the difficulties faced by Muslims regarding Ramadan beside rain.

Jokes apart, there was severe shortage of ration in camps and people who reached refugee camps or were on there way to Pakistan might have suffered starvation :(
