well, as i'm getting married in a family new to us, things are as per the traditional way where my baraat and valima jordhas shall come to me in bari on mehndi (couple of days before my baraat).

my in-laws took my around and had been communicating with me as in what i like, colours, etc... but the final outfit was confirmed by them.

the colours for my baraat is red work over cream and for the valima it is light blue work over fawn. (i like the combos, but they were not my original choices)

so let's c...

InshAllah they wil turn out good, if ur SIL or MIL are frndly , ask them to show u atleast a pic or sample . So u won't be over excited near ur big day :) gud luck

As the jordhas are in pakistan... and probably getting stiched there too... i did pass a few ideas where they can bring the shirts here (as the rest may be heavy).. they are going to pak next on eid... so i hope for the best :)

Or maybe u could ask them the pics so if u don't like anyhting you can tell them before they send or bring it to you. Because once they are made and stiched it would be hard to alter and send them back. But as long u r staified and happy .. Tats wat all matters :)
