I think i do agree with her on some extent but not 100%. But over all book is great for soft hearts.

atleast be courteous enuff to share a summarized view of her theory so we can know if we agree or not....
Re: Raja Gidh

So TAKE my VOTE for YES ![]()
Re: Raja Gidh
Who is Raja Gidh?
Re: Raja Gidh
King of Vultures :D
Re: Raja Gidh
According to theory in Raja Gidh about hallal and harram .... the write said that when we eat or do some thing harram then it causes mutation in our genes .. which is some thing for ever and it then travels in our generations to come.
Re: Raja Gidh
I read it a few yrs ago.The initial impression was quite good and i agree its a great novel but for some unknown reasons it made me uncomfortable.May be the illegal relation ship that guy had with various females or its description was one of the major factors that made me end up having an uncomfortable feeling at the end of it.There was more of an animal instinct in the is book instead of the expression of feelings amongst the characters.....but since it was recommended to me by a very dear person I can not say i didn't like the book!!
I dont find any good reason to argue with the theory of haram and halal except for the point that its limited to oneself and doesn't travel into generations....aakhir ko har insaan apne amaal ka khud jawab deh hai!
Re: Raja Gidh
what a bullcrap theory. How do moral actions translate to the genetic level? Take a genetics class or read a basic genetics book, please.
Re: Raja Gidh
ok i also don't agree with this theory ... but can any one explain to me why God created Hallal and harram things ? means if it does not have any impact on us they why we are restricted ?
or any one has any reason that why our mothers recite quraan and then blow air on us ? or a ‘dum kia howa pani’ has some different effect on us then a normal one. Means there should be some explanation for all of this?
Re: Raja Gidh
NaMaan Dear… As far as my Reading and Understanding.. And Aoffcourse lots wont agree… BUT… Offcourse it Does Effect…
Islamic Concept… If U eat Haram… The effect Stays in Ur BODy for 40 Days… According to some ULAMA… For those 40 Days… Koi IBADAT QABOOL naheeN hoti hay .. COZ… Ur Blood has haram. And…
As per GENETICS… Its also Valid… When Ur BLOOD has haram coz U had some… Tou that is effecting everything… It also Effect Sperms… So.. If Ur boday has that BAD effect in the Time when Ur Body is Producing the Sperms… TOU.. Ur CHILD is being Fertalized by that… BAD Sperms/Eggs. And.. It could have Bad effect on Child too…

Re: Raja Gidh
Yes i also personally feel that there must be some scientific explanation to all this. I think parapsychology has some say over it.
Re: Raja Gidh
It is partially true, at least at spritual level it is true. If you do not believe in sprituality then it is crap :p
Is there a difference in a normal bath and ghusal (Islamically prescribed way to have a bath specially after intercourse, periods etc) ?
Will a Muslim become "clean" (paak) to say his/her prayers after taking a bath ?
Why/how a person turns out to be "clean" to say prayers afther doing Ghusal ?
That cleanliness is more spritual then physical, and going one step further "tayyam'man" is totally spritual, where body is not cleansed physically but only spritually
(these are hardcore Islamic terms, If anyone wants to know, I will try to explain :) )
Same is the case with sin, haraam effects( btw eating/drinking haram is a sin)
There are many ahadees... one goes like when a person commits sin, a black spot appears on his heart,(he feels guilty) when he/she repent it disappears... but if he consistantly commit sins , after a while his heart turn completely black ( now he does not feel any guilt while commiting sin), at that time there is only a bleek chance that he may repent in life time.
Again its all spritual, We muslims are generally quite spritual in nature. good or bad that another issue
Re: Raja Gidh
*Why God created hallal and haram things ? *
Good question, there are two views on this :
Gods’ Official Stance
To test mankind; those who abstain from haram will be rewarded and those who do not, well you know ![]()
Satan’s official Stance
*From Devil’s Advocate *
quote–
‘Let me give you a little inside information about God. God likes to watch. He’s a prankster. Think about it. He gives man instincts! He gives you this extraordinary gift, and then what does he do, I swear for his own amusement, his own private, cosmic gag reel, he sets the rules in opposition. It’s the goof of all time. Look but don’t touch. Touch, but don’t taste! Taste, don’t swallow. Ahaha! And when you’re jumpin’ from one foot to the next, what is he doing? He’s laughin…’

(with due apology to God and people who are sensitive towards God, ) ![]()
So now you have both POVs, the power is yours :k:
Re: Raja Gidh
So God challenges his people. The ones who succeeded in this challenge will win and others will loss.
I think every one who creates ... also tests his product. Like we do stress testing in softwares. Similarly, God also tests us. So the product of quality will be in Heaven inshaAllah.
Re: Raja Gidh
salamz
i read that book 2 times , it is really a very very impressive book
Halal and haram , is 100% correct and u know Qaza o Qadar , waht the Gidh say to the other animalz, about his Sarisht???? do u understand that ??? and the third basic theory was Ishq la hasil (if we talk abt pagal pan)
according to y openion, there was 3 different theories,
and this is fact that if u eat haram it ll effect u , every one can realise very easily
if they want,
any way that theory was 100% correct
Re: Raja Gidh
Yea theory about ishq-a la hasil is also mind boggling. But what u think that is then end of each ishq-a la hasil is death. Umm ... i think i should open a new thread for it ... :)
Re: Raja Gidh
:)
Re: Raja Gidh
sorry again
Re: Raja Gidh
:) yea wo goona open a new one
at this time , i m not agree with u my friend,
may teray ishq ki intaha cahta hoon
meri sadgee to daikh k main kiya cahte hoon
Allama Iqbal
i hope u understand this , like u know some things are unlimited in this world, same like Ishq, this is abslutly unlimited
when i read that book first time , i 've got so many questions in my mind, then i read it secont time, according to my openion, that book have some majortopics,
1 waht s Ishq? what is Irfan?
2 waht is Ishq la hasil
3 waht is serisht?
4what is Halal and Haram
5 what is Dewangi (we cant say this pagal pan) coz its quite different
and the last one is Reaction of God or Nature
Re: Raja Gidh
Above all its a book on philosphy focussing on love. The heroine who gets dejected is broken and she succumbs to her another lover with the tinge of sadness and indifference to the idea of existence. The background theme of Gidh co-relates to the psyche that runs parallel to the actors in the whole drama. One needs to read it more than once to get the essence of the thought.
