Only ever heard Pakistanis/Indians/Bangladeshis say it’s not recommended or better for women not to go..

What is this school of thought’s opinion based on?

Not ‘recommended’ or not ‘required’ ? Two very different things.

What I’m saying is that the emphasis that is there for the men to go to the masjid is not there with the women.
