Raining Stones

**Mosul:“They were throwing them like they were pitching a baseball,” said Sgt. John McLean, who was hit on the helmet, in the back and on the heel.

The troops pulled away and took up a defensive position but even then the children and adults only dispersed when a warning shot was fired over their heads.**

**Najaf: The problem is not confined to Mosul.

Crowds of 250-300 Iraqi teenagers hurled stones at U.S. Marines patrolling the holy city of Najaf in southern Iraq on Thursday and Friday, officers said.**

Maybe the stones are wrapped in rose petals? Whatever, atleast some American culture has made an impact, namely baseball.

I wonder if Fox News is blind to this or not. This might after all turn out to be very bad for them. 10 years of sanctions and cruelty are supposed to be forgotten?

In Kerbala earlier this month, a group of children threw rocks and then kicked puppies over a wall and into a compound where U.S. troops were camped. When the soldiers handed the puppies back with a warning, it was only a few minutes before they were kicked back over the wall

Now if they can only share some of the other good things about American culture, like a child's love for puppies.

Puppies or dogs for that matter are seen as unclean animals. Guess what the message was?

That children in Iraq are deprived of the loyalty, love and responsibility that comes with playing with puppies?

That or they dont have to walk around picking up **** all day.

Stone-Throwing Children Put U.S. Troops on Edge

Iraq seems to becoming another Palestine.
