Rain Check

I and one of my friends went to check some luggage which was on huge one day sale and as usual they were out if it.

They Offered us rain check and my friend took it… Now my friend has to call them after a week and keep checking to see if that particular set of luggage is available or not… hmmm.. most of the times, on special sale event, stores do not offer rain checks… this was an exception… seems like every single person was there for this particular item and everyone was receving an offer similar to what we did - rain check…

So, when something is out of stock, do you guys prefer to have a rain check or just leave it and move on… I have taken rain checks only couple of times in the past but usually I am like… whatever leave it… I aint gonna bother…

never taken one in my life... if i really need to buy something, i'd probably end up trying a different store
