i just had my first radiation therapy 
it was sad seeing other patients there who had their heads all covered while i praded my long locks..
im not sure wat the side affects are.. i feel totally exhausted and very garam.. but that might be my own doing, walking fast in the cold
and why are you having radiation therapy?
ummz its to get rid of this scar tissue from developing again, Inshallah

Was it just a one day therapy?
My sister had to stay in the hospital for a couple days
when she had hers twice. She had thyroid cancer.
MashALLAH she is doing ok now.

Hope you feel better soon Sadzz. Someone close to me had chemo recently and the side effects can be just as bad as the illness being treated. But it's certainly the lesser of two evils.
