I almost got a few tickets on my Canada trip last weekend (got really lucky) so have decided to invest in a radar detector. I’ve been shopping around for the best one out there. There are 2 at the top of the list:
I’m rooting towards #2. Read somewhere that V1 gets confused in cities and the Passport is ~$100 cheaper. Looking for comments and suggestions.

Well sure they are. But most of my driving was in the US.
Nobody uses radar-detectors kia? Or does everyone live in Canada? 
Other than SalMon (who’s a little biased) its a dead duck thread i guess.
Anyhow I just ordered the Escort Passport 8500. Should be getting it soon.
