What do with a rack of goat pplz? Got to the desi butcher real early today morning and they were taking apart goats, convinced the guy to sell me the whole rack for what i thought was a real bargain. I’ve done rack of lambs before, on the grill or roasted in the oven, can i do the same with this too or is it going to be too tough and dry in comparison?

you can do the rack of goat in the oven, just decrease heat and increase time

Dip it in paint, air dry, then spray paint. Hang it above the fireplace for a conversation piece.OrrrrrMarinate with lemon juice salt coarsely ground pepper garlic fresh herbs and bake at 300 F for a very long time. Sorry for not using commas... Didn't feel like it today.

thanks, you two. i sorta did my own thang, but it was delicious ![]()
coz it didnt seem to have much fat on it, i marinated the hell out of it overnight with a paste of garlic, parsley, salt and olive oil. quickly browned it on a super hot cast iron skillet, popped in the oven with a thermometer in it, pulled out at 130F. was perfectly juicy and tender. and not one bit gamey.
