Phatima is right. The first step is to let him know that these comments are making you feel uncomfortable. USA is your country as well and you or your dad were not happy with the attacks and you condemn them. If he still goes on, the next step will be to let your teacher or principal know. But the first step is to let him know that he’s making you feel uncomfortable. Ignoring is not a solution. You don’t have to sit down and have a conversation with him, just tell him his comments hurt you and you love this country as well because you are a resident of this country, and then walk away.
