Yes I have, i was only in the seventh grade when I went to Pakistan with my family. Most of my family in America speaks Punjabi so when we went to Pakistan I was shocked that everyone spoke urdu…me like any dumb kid tried to fit in and speak Urdu and got ridiculed by my own family members …every since then i have never tried to speak urdu and honestly whenever people speak Urdu i am really hesitant to reply expecting them to laugh or correct me and its sad cause everyone speaks urdu not punjabi (other than english) here too i never noticed it until i came back from pakistan
