Do you think that in today’s modern workplace, that Indians and Pakistanis discriminate against each other professionally?

I don't think so, some how it's reverse. They work great together.

In my experience absolutely not. Perhaps in blue collar jobs they do.

I've seen an Indian manager promote a Pakistani employee before an Indian employee, due to merit.

I've heard they still have serious problems working with together in Dubai. Some Pakistanis complain of being bullied by their Indian bosses in Dubai so much that they were forced to leave.

I dont know about elsewhere, but here in Australia they tend to get along pretty well. Yes there is friendly competition, especially during the cricket, but overall I see them get along very well. They dont see each other as Pakistani or Indians, rather collectively as desis.

I work with Indians and Bengalis and I get on very well with them, there's a nice kinship cos we're asian, rather than any religious differences

Most of the time visible minorities work together and have good relationship than with visible Majority.

We get along pretty well. Went to each other parties, spend time together. Its fun, why we can't be same in Pak/India?

I have only one Desi in the building I work at. He is Indian and he is awesome. he has been here for a while, he always helps and good person to talk to for advice.

In the middle east racism happens in the open...not just at work..and its not jst between Indians and Pakistanis...its between all races...

That is true. A friend of mine who is a pakistani from dubai told me that pakistanis and indians do not get along at all in UAE

That might be, but in white collar, you are right. No Racism there.

and btw there cant be any, at least in USA. Company will get sued.

They get along well , true but in my experience each one (indian/pakistani) give preference to their own (may be thats another topic ??) in securing jobs. For instance in my last company, if one indian was manager, his/her team would mostly have indians.
Where I am working now, one indian guy was hired as a lead and now he has in turn hired 2 more indians.
