The owner of the Daily Express is a very close friend of Mohamed Al-Fayed and was known for printing many many of the stories regarding Diana possibly being murdered due to her relationship with Muslim Dodi so I think it’s perhaps a bit simplistic to say it’s blatantly anti-Islam, esp when most of the other tabloids do similar styles of reporting when it comes to Islam and Muslims (I actually think the Daily Mail is far worse, check out their reader comments section online whenever something about Islam/Muslims in general comes up and it’s pretty obvious ppl are being directed over there from BNP and far-right websites).
You’re right about Richard Desmond being in the porn business (tho he’s not the only newspaper baron to do it), he owns Television X as well..
