This input of *Wa *in the statement is quite confusing. ‘Wa’ means ‘And’ The statement is just one sentence. I see use of ‘wa’ not required at all
For example, some poor countrymen go to a king and say :
‘Oh lord ! you are noble and kind on your people, please forgive our mistake’
his other companion says
'Oh lord ! And you are very kind ’
Clearly using And in any single and clear statement is totally not required in my opinion 
May be there is some other detail attached with these statements , which i am not aware of.
