i think it's perfectly alright to relate yourself to a tribe.. like I am rajput. but it's wrong when one does it out of pride. agree?

I have absolutely no time for the caste system, it all boils down to stereotypes and one up-man-ship.

Like seriously I couldn't care less how many acres of land your family own in Pakistan or how wealthy your fore-fathers were or how much influence your family had - judge me on my actions, my behaviour and vice versa.

The people that really get my goat are those that despite having a lack of personal achievements or accomplishments live off the name of their caste or their family name.

Well like I'm syed so I know back home in Pakistan marraige outside of syeds is a problem. but yaha bohot problem aati hai when you're looking for rishtas so like very rarely do people do it in the States. Actually, the family's I KNOW don't. But yeah, i've seen it happen. Like I've actually seen girls being married off to like jahil, horrible men just becaue they're syed...like that doesnt' say anything about their character...

I give importance to belongigs.

I would try to find a girl for my brother from my own kind cause it would be easier for both sides to know and learn quickly. But I can go for syed only if I find whatever I'm looking for. but my baji go for our own zaat only. My bhai jan say only look if she is muslim thats it. I didn't like this Idea at all.

What I will go for...........he he he..............shirmaing..............beauty 1st and Education than other stuff.............as in one of Paki ad use to say................Akhir log hamara chahra hi to daikhtay hain.

I don't know If I'm right or wrong. Ppl can help me by their mashwara.

I mean, in my family, culture plays a big role. So the guy needs to be Pakistani as well as like a good practicing muslim...if all of the above is satisfied and the guy's syed, thats' great...if not, then it shouldn't be a big deal.
