Well I dont know if this post is appropriate in this thread or the Arts and culture section. But since this section gets more hits, just for the purpoise of chance of acquiring more info about this topic I am posting it here.
Well I want to shed some light on the topic if you guys any knowledge of different raags. In my school years we were taught rags. The names I can remember are Rag Bhopali, Rag Amen thats pretty much it. Once I knew all of them.
What I was wondering if somebody had more information about these raags. Whatt other kind are there. And what is there significance. I remember that it is said every single music piece is based on a raag. how does that happen? And if possible can someone tell me about any reading material on Raags. Or websites would be great too…
