whats wrong in giving presents to non muslims ....presents always enhance love irrespective of religion ...
Salaam Sis.
Giving presents to people believer or non-believer is a good thing…
…But at Christmas it’s like you’re joining in their celebrations and as Muslims we are to follow what the Prophet (sallallaho alaihe wassallam) said, he told us that we only have two Eids, they are Eid ul-Adha and Eid ul-Fitr and he also told us not to imitate the disbelieving people because the one who imitates a people is one of them.
Wassalaam.
Good question, i think there are restrictions to it. I dont have much knowldge but i am pretty sure somebody else like rammy, Ibne-Sadique, Anwar Bhai and other people who have much knowldge to it will answer your question. But IMO its not allowed, but if your intentions are to mingle with them with the intentions that you are riverting them to islam and all and such and such, it might be ok but its just my opinion.

^^ thats what i wanted to say :).. Especially the saying of Prophet Mohammad :saw: " He who imitate the disbelieving people is one of them". Thanx Dhulfiqar.
