“Tony Greig, the former England captain and well-known television commentator, has died after being diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year. He suffered a heart attack at his home in Sydney on Saturday morning and died at about 1.45pm (AEDT). He was 66.”

sad news...lung cancer is such a killer...it's brutal and death comes fast...one of my uncles passed away 3 years ago...it took only 6 months between diagnosis and death. :(

Tony Greig was the voice I heard growing up. Shoaib Akhtar's two dismissals of Astle and Fleming in SF WC'99 became remarkable by his comm.
