@TLK

There are farms owned by muslims in USA and if you are way too interested in butchering a goat, cow or lamb yourself, you can do that there. Most of the people go through their halal meat shop who would do the qurbani on their behalf. I go with NGOs so the meat get distributed in Pakistan amongst needy people

---

I never knew that !..most of my friends who live abroad usually instruct relatives etc to carry out the qurbanis on their behalf…but this does seem like a novel idea…Only thing is who do u give the meat away too

@BarbieCue

My parents always send money to Pakistan for Qurbaani (so our relatives do it for us in Pakistan). I don’t think its allowed in Ireland… even if it was, there aren’t really any poor people whom you’d distribute the meat to.

I’ve seen only one qurbaani in Pakistan and it gives me nightmares! Also, one eid, one of our neighbour’s cow ran away a short while before qurbaani bhehe… but they caught it again! =(
