Quranic verses for a wedding card

can anyone help me out with quranic verses to put on wedding invitations…
would be great if we cud come up with a few..

what are you going to achieve by doing that, quranic verses shouldnt be in reality put on such things because shaadi khatam ho jaati hai to log cards painkh (throw away) detey hein aur is mein aap ko gunaa ho ga k quraan ki be-adbi ho rahi hai, isi tarah, posters, leaflets etc pe bismillah tak kuch nahin likhna chaaeye, kiyon k yeh annoouncements wali cheezein hein, card pe yeh laazmi hota hai k kis kis ki shaadi ho rahi hai aur venue, aur is k ilaawa kuch aur cheeze ki zaroorat nahin hoti.

well...when gettin married its a blesssed occasion...and you start of by writing bismillahirahmanirahim...and then quote an ayah from the quran...

its very common amongst the arabs here and i feeel too is a good way to start off...
i dunno if its common in pakistan or not..but we usually alwyas have a quranic verse...

anwyas if you cud help quote a few ayahs would be good...

I agree with bob_woolmer, Quranic verses are not for decoration purposes, one should refrain from playing with them in such manner.

baat yeh hai keh i understand marraige is a blessed sunnah of our holy beloved Prophet Saw, lekin as m fellow members also replied, cards are not to decorate with quranic verses.
aur doosri baat, shaadi START nikaah se hoti hai, aur jab nikaah parah jaata hai us waqt bismillah aur khutba waghera parah jaata hai so its not really nessecerry, because as i have said already k a card is an invitation, call, announcement for people to make it for the nikaah.

aur 3rd baat yeh k, quraan ka adab aur ihtiraam, har waqt zaroori hai, chaaey aadmi zameen pe ho ya aasmaan pe, aur aap khud he soch lein k aap ko pata bhi ho ga k saudia mein log sar k neechey zameen pe rakh kar so jaatey hein, aap khud he bataao k is mein konsi adab ya ihtiraam wali baat hai. so it doest really matter what other people do, whats taken in consideration is what is right and what is wrong. and the right is that quranic verses shouldnt be on such things as cards, posters, leaflets, newspapers also because aik din log news read kartey hein aur second din woh hi newspaper zameen pe logon k qadmon mein pari hoti hai ya to woh hi newspaper pakorey wala aap ko us newspaper mein aap k pakorey wrap kar k deta hai, so aap hi khud bataaein in cheezon mein konsi adab o ihtiraam wali baat hai.

In Pakistan people do that as well. I just find it unnecessary as when disposing of the card the receiver has to be very creative.
