The Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings be on him) in the seventh century of the Christian Era (610 CE - 633CE). The revlations came to the Prophet through the angel Gabriel. For the past fourteen centuries, Muslims from all over the world have written the
Arabic verses in various beautiful caligrahic forms. Below are a few examples of the caligraphy.
It reads: “In the name of God, The Compassionate, The Merciful; Praise be to God; the Cherisher and
Sustainer of the Worlds; The Compassionate, The Merciful; Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee do we worship, and thine aid do we seek. Show us the straight way; The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, Those whose portion is not wrath, And who go not astray.”

well i would alsoo say when u go to MUSJID-UL-HARRUM and MUSJID-UL-NUBWI ull find a lot of ARABIC QURANIC calligraphy over there on the walls , celler,roof and every where ecxept floor!!!!
one wall can take one week to read it through and as i would say again THINGS in both musques can take ur breath away in a sec!!!
…I really like Arabic Calligraphy and I wish I know how to write sooo good…but I try to use the computer to come up with some good art. Not like the ones above but some good ones…Take a look at the last image, the green one, now that is soo hard to dooooo.
