I am just wondering if anyone of you who have read the translation of Quran e Hakeem can suggest me something. I’ll truely appreciate your help I am planning to read some translations in my spare time..so i am wondering:
Whichever Surah u choose to read (al-Anaam Surah No. 6 is as good a read like all) be sure to read several translations and also attempt to form your own understanding in light of the meaning of the words as you come to know them.
Do ignore the (brackets) and concentrate on getting the real meanings as intended by Allah.
Thanks PA for the help..i'll look into it :) I am asking about surahs here because i have noticed that somehow when i start reading from the beginning of Quran and try to go page by page thing..somehow i stop in a middle...and then i start over..So, this time i am trying to go by surahs..like lets say pick a subject and read about it.
Hope i'll be able to learn something from the experience.
u may want to frequent this forum.. whenever a topic comes up or u read a huge copy paste on a subject.. go back to the Qur’an and search for it and read ALL verses on the topic.
They may not be in one Surah, but this way u’d gain familiarity with the Surah’s and Qur’an searches.. and at least I find myself reading other verses while searching for just one on the topic du jour.
There are virtues and understnding of each Juz in the Holy Qur'an but i especially like the reading of this particular Juz .
Anas radiyallah anhu reported Allah’s Messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam as saying, "Everything has a heart and the heart of the Holy Qur’aan is Ya-Sin. Allah Almighty will record anyone who recites Ya-Sin as having recited the Holy Qur’an ten times."
I particularly enjoy reading the surah which refers to The Ant. I'm not sure which one it is but hey its pretty amazing.
Also you might wanna cover the whole of Juz Amma since it has various surah's, its better to start from small then work your way up to the big surah's.
Although i never reply on the channel but i will like to help u in this matter. recently i read through the quran i realized couple of points..
whenever u start reading the translation always ask for guaidance from Allah to lead u to the rite path. it is important.
secondly analyse the meaning of the verse. just think over it. why it is included in this holy book. y not it was phrased a little differently .. i personally think tafseers help in this regard by giving u how to analyse and how to seek guidance, and may be after reading the tafseer u get couple of extra points which were not mentioned..
try to make it a routine like donot go for too much in one day and no reading for whole week to come.. rather keep in touch with little reading.
lastly, i will suggest u read Surah Tauba. Y.? because its the only surah which doesnot include Bismillah. and it is the last surah which was given to prophet (SAW). so i think it is the last one this means that it has some extra importance for the later generations of the Muslims.. just like the last tip from the teacher on the last day before examination means extra importance.. so it has some extra importance..
rather i think i may be openning a topic on this for general discussion..
Best of Luck. and if u find something interesting do share..

I believe that it is preferred that we read the Quran in order. Even during namaz I have been told at various religious gatherings that the surahs read in namaz after surah fatiha should be read in same order that they are found in the Quran. So you may want to rethink that one.
well if u r willing to read surah wise, i suggest these three surahs:
Al-Kahef
Al-noor
Al-Ahzab
