Quran calls Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique(RA) a companion of Prophet Muhammad (SA)

Tauba : 40 : If ye help not (the Prophet), (it is no matter) : for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: being the second of the two they two were in the Cave, and he said to his companion, “Have no fear, for Allah is with us”: then Allah sent down His peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths of the word of the Unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.

Inquilab , I think you have put forward a very good point here by putting this verses on the forum , since there are lots of people here who makes strange comments about HAzrat Abu BAkar (RA) and others .
People , Quran is calling HAzrat Abu BAkar the companion of HAzrat Muhammad(SA) , who are you people to say anything about the person whom you have never seen or knows nothing what Allah knows about him.

Agree with Logic Bomb.

The thing that the shia talk about is that Hazrat Abu Bakr(RA) changed after the passing of the Prophet(saw), this is what divides us.
We believe them to be the Kaliph-ur-Rasideen but the shia don't because of valid arguements, basically what they did after the Prophet(saw) passed away.
Abu Bakr(RA) disrespected Bibi Fatimah(ra), and the Prophet has said that whoever angers fatima angers me.
You can find these hadiths in the virtues of Hazrat Ali(ra). They are in the Sahih Bukhari Shareef, and our other sunni books of tradition.

man you guys belong in a mental institution. Not once does the Quran mention the word Abu Bakr.

2pak , do you know anything about Hijra , or you are here just to create 'jhaggra' here. My request again is , if you don't know anything about the related topic , you should shut up.

ahl-e-sunnah you walk like shias, you talk like shias, or perhaps you are one of those retarded shias in disguise who try to sell their faith for the sake of sunni names...

I am sorry to say your arguments are weightless. Did I say senseless too?

n e ways sahabas were great personalities, there is no parallels on the floors of Islam. If you think they are fools then please review yor taqwa again. Inshallah Allah will guide you.

Nanga,

who said that my nick is sunni or shia?! anywayz...I don't want to get into personalities cuz it's not worth it, the whole thing about sahabas...well have U read the hadiths of our imams after the life of the prophet?!

Ahl e Sunnah ,the verse you mentioned is ,

Al-Nisaa : 40 : Allah is never unjust in the least degree: if there is any good (done), He doubleth it, and giveth from His Own self a great reward.

Whats your point by referring to this verse , and for your point about things after prophet(SA)'s physical disapperance is illogical, since Muslims believe the Quran is for all worlds and is here till the Qayyamah.

Nanga bhai salam,

Did you know that the ahl al-sunna wa’l jama’a accept the madhab (school of thought) of the househiold of the prophet which is the madhab that the Ithna’ashari Imami Shia’s follow? This is classified as a fifth madhab to them and they can treat its jurisrudential texts in the same way they do with the other four schools. They should then not disparage it nor deride those who embrace it. I believe brother Muslim 786 in his posts did say that he has spent time at Al-Azhar University at Cairo. You can conirm this with him. The sunni alim Shaykh Salim al-Bishri, head of the Al-Azhar University in the early years of the twentieth century initiated the research. In 1959 the then head of Al-Azhar University the late Shaykh Mahmud Shaltut declared a religious injunction that recognised the Ithna Ashari as an acceptable school of thought. The name of the book to read is Al-Muraja’at (The Right Path). Please see link attached.
