Quran aur Juzdaan

Is it influence of sub-continent’s culture to put Quran on some highest place of the home (normally unreachable) wrapped in cover Juzdaan?

Or Quran and scriptures are placed in same styles across all the cultures?

I myself have seen Quran on top of wardrobe(Almari) in dusty state of Juzdan… :bummer:

Then I bought a tafseer and placed it on the highest floor of home… :smack: Did not read… :sadaf:

Well, both juzadan and highest place are for a reason. Juzdan; so even in the state of napaaki or without wuzu, a person could hold the quran (in case it needs to be moved from a place to the other). Highest place; so even accidentally your feet does not face it, or nothing falls on it.

Now if you keep it juzdaan and leave it at a high place to collect dust, then its your fault, and not of tradition.

But do they put Quran in juzdaan at places like Kaaba and Haramen Shareef?

I think the understanding is that people are ba wazoo already inside kaaba
