Words to Remember
In light of the anniversary of the attacks against the heads of kufr (disbelief), and the official start of the war against Islam, we present these words of Shaykh 'Abdullah Azzam. Words which deserve to be written in gold, words which were spoken decades ago, but its reality stares every single muslim in the face…
“They want a religion that is flexible, in agreement with the whims of the Americans. They want a people who are open to all the American whims, and the whims of the Shayateen of man and Jinn. They want ‘moderate’ people. Those, who do not differ with the West in any opinion. And they lower their heads, to every order that comes to them. It is only fear that Islaam returns again, and now the plot has become large, and the entire world has gathered [against us].”
“So oh brothers, do not think sacrifices go - like that - to whither. And do not think that the blood of the innocent ones goes to dust. The blood of the innocent ones is valuable in the eyes of the Most Merciful. The Lord of glory, destroyed the entire earth one day, due to twelve individuals who entered the boat with Nooh 'alayhis-salaatu wa salam”
"Verily our words will remain dead. Our young warriors like wax – solid with no movement.
So that when we die for their sake,
They spring into life, and live amongst the living.
Every word that has lived
Has taken a human’s living heart as an aliment
And so it lived amongst the living
For the living do not adopt the dead."
" The behaviour of the best of the servants of God shows itself in four ways: he rejoices when a sinner repents, he implores God to pardon those who do not even dream of repentance, he prays God to come to the aid of the unfortunate and he helps all who do good. "
Abu Salaam, one of the comrades of Wahb Ibn Munabbih quotes him as saying: "Knowledge is the closest friend of a believer, patience is his assistant, reason is his guide, action is his slogan, tenderness is his father and kindness is his brother."
Usamah Bin Laden:
"Those who speak about the "innocents" in America have not tasted the emotions of loosing children...They have never tasted the feeling of looking at disabled bodies of children in Palestine and elsewhere...after all this, these pathetic people pretend to cry over the killings of the Americans and cannot be bothered to cry over the death of our children"
Allah says in the Qur'an: "You will indeed find them, of all people, most greedy of life, even more than those who do not believe in Resurrection. Each one of them wishes he could be given a life of a thousand years. But the grant of such life will not save him even a little from due punishment. For Allah sees well all that they do" (Al Baqarah, 2:96).
"A morning or an evening spent in the Path of Allah is better than the world and all it contains." [Bukhari and Muslim]
"When a person suffers from some calamity and supplicates: ‘Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji'oon’ (To Allah we belong and to Allah shall we return), O Allah make good the loss in this calamity, and grant me something good, Allah then compensates him/her for the loss, and give a better substitute" (Muslim)
On the authority of 'Abdullaah ibn 'Umar (radiallaahu 'anhumaa) who said: The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) took hold of my shoulder, and said: "Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a passer by".
'what is the life of the world but amusement and play? But verily the home in the hereafter this is lief indeed, if they but knew' (29:64)
"AND YOUR LORD SAYS: 'CALL ON ME I WILL ANSWER YOUR PRAYER..." [Soorah Ghaafir (40): 60]
"We supplicate and we are not answered." So he said to them:
- "You know Allaah, Yet you do not obey Him,
- You recite the Qur'aan, Yet do not act according to it,
- You know Shaitaan(Devil), Yet you have agreed with him,
- You proclaim that you love the Messenger of Allah, sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, Yet you abandon his Sunnah,
- You proclaim your love for Paradise, Yet you do not act to gain it,
- You proclaim your fear for the Fire, Yet you do not prevent yourselves from sins,
- You say "Indeed death is true", Yet you have not prepared for it,
- You engage yourselves with finding faults with others, Yet you do not look at your faults,
- You eat of that which Allah has provided for you, Yet you do not thank Him,
- You bury your dead, Yet you do not take a lesson from it."
If I'm correct, aplogise if I'm not bro, isnt Mr Azzam the ideological guru behind Al-qaeda?

Mr Azzam for your information was a Muslim and a person who fought in the soviet war. He was followed by many muslims, and anyway whats wrong with the quotes, most of the quotes i have given are from quran and hadith.
u do realise that the AL-QAEDA we hear about in the West is completely a warped version of what its really like (if it DOES exist).. and as far as Osama-Bin-Laden goes.. hes not the guy they show us on tv... lol.. this is just an illuminati tactic 2 target Muslims and segregate them further.. simply 2 weaken us.. the Muslim Ummah is the fastest growing Ummah.. magr we are very weak. they try to weaken us further by causing divisions in our strength... we people can't even decide ONE DATE for Eid...

and the quotes by Osama-Bin-Laden are true in terms of the elements and general feelings of the cry from thw wounded middle east.. but r u sure Bin Laden said them? not just ascribed to him...? Allah knows best.

Oh right. Rose..since you are better informed please illuminate us on what our good ole' cudly OBL was really like, along with his little hobby AL-Qaeda (if it existed that is ) ?
Osama bin Laden was a person who gave up the luxuries of the life for what he felt was the right cause. not what you probably think is right. He went to afghanistan to seek for a base for mujahideen which later can become the centre of the world and to establish a khilafah or a base where mujahideen can be trained so they can fight in the lands of oppression.
