The flag of Islamic Republic of Pakistan
The question is:
Who designed the flag and what do the dark green and white colors represnt. Also what is the significance of crescent and star in the flag.
A brief discription
Green = majority
White = minority
Star & cresent = Symbol of Islam
dunda (pole) = for India

I could give you a whole lecture on the Danda Issue, but I have a Gut feeling it would be a wasted effort, specially after looking at the mentality you have, you cant even spare your own National Flag.
Anyways just for your Knowledge some info about the Pakistani National Flag.
The Pakistan Flag was designed by Ameer-ud-din Khidwai. The national flag of Pakistan is dark green in colour with a white bar, a white crescent in the centre and a five-pointed star. The significance of the colour and symbols used in the Pakistan Flag is as follows:
The white and dark green field represents minorities & Muslim majority, respectively.
The crescent on the flag represents progress.
The five-rayed star represents light and knowledge.

btw, I remember in my school books, we either had the name of Chaudri Rehmat Ali or Quaid-e-Azam as the designer of the flag. is there some controversy to this issue?
Nahin Bhai it was not a general Quiz, it was a specific quiz about the Pakistani National Flag, but was it necessary to show the Danda to India, I mean come on grow up.
