Re: Quid e Azams Will and last Testament

Thanks for sharing brother.

Leaders such as above are much needed in today's times, when the current pool are looting the earnings of previous, current, and future generations' left and right with false promises, and very little or no contribution back into the community at all.

We need Iqbals, Jinnahs, and Liaqat Alis today more than ever before.

Ameen!!

I was so happy to read the Will of Quid i thought of sharing it on gs.

Re: Quid e Azams Will and last Testament

How come he didnt leave an Islamic will

what is Islamic will ?

I'm assuming we are referring to a will that would fit in with Shariah.

Under Shariah children all receive their share (which depends on their sex). Girls get less due to the fact once they are married they are entitled to a percentage of the wealth of their husband upon his death.

Re: Quid e Azams Will and last Testament

Because when a change of circumstances occur within the family remit, then on ecan bequeath the entire sum to whomever one deems best for the interests of the person.

Secondly, the 'Sadqa Jaraiya' of this will is very clearly the motivation here, as he bequeathed money to institutions which will use the money to support and intellectually nurture the next generation of youth who he was keen to nurture high aspirations for.

Also, he left money to support his sister and other sisters he supported in his lifetime as well as others who he felt wanted to support even beyond death.

I think the Shari will you mean, thought an option, wasn't appropriate given his increased number of dependents who he felt wouldn't benefit from his will. Plus his daughter was clearly taken care of by her husband's families as well as recieving her father's financial testamented support. Whereas his sister didn't have such a support mechanism and hence was a greater dependent than the daughter.

Islam and Sharia are dependent upon Alah swt's first and foremost rule, fairness and justice.

A truly remarkable and amazing man. May Allah swt give todays leaders hidayat to follow his noble path in politics both outwardly and inwardly.....ameen

He had only one daughter, which was "aaq" by him or not.. i am not sure.

Rest as far his last will concerned, it's pretty much summed up that he was a secular man and wanted Pakistan as a secular country. The end !

Re: Quid e Azams Will and last Testament

The Malabar House in Mumbai :D

Secularism seeks to divide state affairs and religion. Islam is all inclusive. Jinnah was a muslim; follower of the faith of Islam. He based the foundation of Pakistan on the basis of Islam; a religion that has no compulsion, gives men and women their due rights so long as the land is ruled according to Islam.

Shortly after the birth of nation of Pakistan, it has experience jolts of "Secular" governance, and has never lived to its full glory. It has been ruled in one shape or another by Secularists ranging from Corrupt Generals to Deceiving Politicians whose Gods are mighty men, who worship deities known as Power, Greed, Money, Ultimate Control over its populace even if the majority of the populace opposes the policies set forth by its so-called representative Government.

Jinnah was a visionary of a caliber today's politician only dream of becoming. He had a very balanced plan of course for Pakistan fueled by Iqbal's philosophy and ideology. Both of these men despised secularism and spoke out against atrocities committed worldwide under the banner of "Secularism". The exponential genocide of humans across the globe has been done by those whose ideologies are Secular, whose motto Secular Rule, whose vision is that of a new New Secular World Order, and whose principles are based off of a system that divides religion and state affairs, yet refers to wars as "Crusades against evil". Please tell me you see the trend.

So please save the hogwash, and wikipedia is an editable source that any no-name, no-origin person can alter. :)

Bless you my child!! lolz
