It looks "awkward" I think because the diaper is elongated instead of being wide. I'd use the first version - the shape and colours and detailing, but widen it.

Honrstly…steer away from the ribbon and button…doesnt look like a diaper…and better the shape cuz right now they dont look like diapers…
