How many of you have some sweet after dinner/lunch?
I serioulsy want something after it. Yesterday I made some suji ka halwa. 2 days before I made some icecream parfait. and the list goes on.
The sweet recipes like Trifle, ras malai, gajar ka halwa take too much time.
I am looking for quick sweet recipes. please chare it here!!
One of the latest is sweet coconut.
Crushed coconuts, Sugar and milk.
Put all of them together on low heat. Mix them well until it thickens and becomes caramel-ish. Cook for 10 mins. Make pieces and refrigerate.
any canned fruit...some cream and ready made custard.Mix everything together and eat:)

coconut balls...heat a can of condensed milk...add desicated coconut and roll into little balls..then dip in cocoa powder or more coconut..
just eat a fruit yoghurt...
cut a banana...add ice cream,chopped nuts,then swirl some chocolate/strawberry sauce over it...or melt a small bar of chocolate and pour that over it...

Make a bit of vanilla custard , then some mango custard , then some banana custard
On a plain cake layer , spread vanilla custard , then some fruit, then mango custard, fruit again and finally banana custard ... takes me about 10 minutes of cooking time , rest is refrigerating :@:
Eton mess - Whip some double cream with a little icing sugar in it - chop strawberries in to and throw in some crushed meringue - ready in around 4 minutes!
Fresh cream and fruit cake - buy a plain cake base from the supermarket - whipped cream on top and then throw on whatever fruit you fancy (can be fresh, such as summer fruits, kiwis etc, or it can be a tin of fruit) grate some chocolate on top and you're good to go - takes around 5 minutes.
Mango custard - make some custard, allow to cool a little, put in a few spoonfuls of mango pulp (ad to your own taste) and a good splash of double cream - refrigerate for a little while if possible - serve with freshly cut mango slices. Takes around 5 minutes to make - and around 20 minutes to prep if you include chilling time.
Chocolate fondue - melt some milk or plain chocolate - chop up fruit (grapes, pineapple chunks, strawberrys) and dig in! Takes around 6 minutes (as you need to melt the choc on a low heat)
i always have frozen fruits in the refrig. you can do soo much with em! make quick smoothies, light dessert with whip cream and frozen fruit. add them in yogurt. yums
a fast dessert i make is date balls
take dates, pit them, heat them up in the microwave on 1 minutes, add in a drop or two of melted butter, just to make them easy to handle. mash them with a fork. make bite sized balls (small!!) and roll them in crushed nuts like almonds, pistachios and such. and thats it! serve them warm or chilled :D
another one i make is graham cracker balls
take graham cracker crumbs...like one bag...add in melted butter and one tin condensed milk. mix together, make bite sized balls, roll in crushed nuts and serve cold or room temp. yummy :)
By Pepperidge Farm pastry puff sheets (the circular ones)....stick em in the oven and bake according to directions. When the pastry puffs cool.......cut them in half...and fill with whipped cream and fruit.

Actually I see a lot of sweet balls recipe here...per my family is like that wasnt a desert thats just tasting it..rofl

Im too lazy for trifle lol.. i want more quick stuff.
wonton wrappers/egg roll wrappers ... fill with fav choc+ nuts or jam and fruit or thick custard/packaged pudding or nutella ... sky is the limit here
seal well and deep fry
sprinkle powder sugar on top or not!
eat eat eat n eat
