hiya everyone

please could u guys help me? i have had a cold now for one and a half weeks, i cant seem to shift it, do u know of any home remedies that have been tried and tested to get rid of it please. im willing to try anything :frowning: cuz i am so fed up of it

Boil mint leaves, half a lemon and a few pieces of garlic in 2-3 cups of water. Add a tsp of honey and drink it.

i would sincerely suggest you see a physician as cold ought not to persist for that long.

treat symptomatically, rest up. this is the best thing ive managed to do to shorten them, and i catch a lot of colds..

Feed a cold and starve a fever is an old saying.

Prevention done by washing hands regularly, not wiping eyes nose with bare hands. Once you get cold virus as Dr.Q suggests one can only treat the symptoms.

I hear one can strengthen immune system with proper nutritious diet and exercise. I am no doctor though.

thanks for your replies guys have made an appt to see physician tomorrow see if he can give me something to get it out of my system :)

UPDATE been docs he has given me a nasal spray cuz i got lot of mucus and he go use that n hopefully it will clear up :)
